Accounts Receivable Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Process the full accounts receivable cycle, from generating invoices to recording incoming payments and reconciling account activity.
• Apply cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner to ensure customer accounts reflect current payment status.
• Conduct commercial collections outreach on past-due balances while maintaining positive business relationships with clients.
• Oversee the accounts receivable inbox, respond to inquiries, and route requests to the appropriate stakeholders when needed.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, payment exceptions, and customer concerns, then drive issues through resolution.
• Escalate complex account matters appropriately and provide clear updates on outstanding items requiring additional attention.
• Monitor daily cash activity and maintain organized records that support accurate reporting and account reconciliation.
• Contribute to other finance and receivables-related tasks as assigned to support team operations.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience managing accounts receivable processes in a business environment that requires strong attention to detail.• Hands-on knowledge of cash application, invoicing, billing support, and account reconciliation.
• Background in commercial collections with the ability to communicate firmly and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling payment records and customer account information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to inbox activity, and resolve issues within deadlines.
• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is beneficial.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with customers and internal teams.
Compensation
