Assistant Property Manager
Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day management activities across assigned residential, commercial, and affordable housing properties.
• Coordinate leasing-related tasks, including unit availability updates, applicant follow-up, and move-in or renewal documentation.
• Maintain accurate tenant, lease, and property records in Yardi to ensure timely reporting and file integrity.
• Assist with rent collection, account review, and resident communication regarding balances or required paperwork.
• Help monitor compliance with HUD and affordable housing program requirements by tracking certifications and documentation deadlines.
• Respond to resident and tenant inquiries, resolve service-related issues, and escalate concerns when needed.
• Partner with property management staff, vendors, and maintenance teams to address operational needs and support occupancy goals.
• Prepare administrative reports, organize property files, and contribute to office processes that keep site operations efficient.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting property management operations in residential, commercial, or mixed-use environments.• Working knowledge of leasing practices, tenant relations, and property administration procedures.
• Familiarity with Yardi software for recordkeeping, leasing activity, or property reporting.
• Understanding of HUD guidelines and affordable housing documentation requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in handling confidential records and maintaining organized documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional property management training is a plus.
Compensation
