Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead high-impact initiatives for a global financial services organization in Denver, Colorado. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a client-facing specialist who can guide complex programs from planning through execution while aligning business, operational, and technology priorities. The role requires strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders to deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Direct complex, enterprise-level projects and programs that involve multiple business areas, systems, and delivery teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across global locations to build coordinated project plans, manage timelines, and keep priorities aligned.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders and stakeholders by offering implementation guidance, practical recommendations, and delivery support.
• Evaluate project risks, dependencies, and business impacts through analysis and governance practices to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor the relationship between business objectives, operational processes, and technology needs to help ensure successful outcomes.
• Drive resolution of issues, blockers, and competing priorities by taking ownership of critical path activities and maintaining delivery momentum.
• Prepare and present clear status updates on milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and overall project health for team members and executives.
• Oversee internal resources and external partners, including vendor coordination, to support effective execution and accountability.
• Work with business leaders and finance partners to support budgeting, cost-benefit evaluation, and tracking of financial performance measures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to prepare data for technology enablement and support prioritized rollout activities.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within financial services or similarly regulated environments.
• Demonstrated success leading complex programs through a PMO structure with strong attention to governance and controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally in client-facing settings.
• Experience managing stakeholders across business, technology, operations, finance, and third-party vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks, dependencies, and project impacts.
• Ability to develop and maintain project plans while adjusting to changing priorities, resource constraints, and delivery needs.
• Familiarity with governance-focused project environments and structured project management methodologies.
• Experience with tools or environments such as Epicor, Intacct, or related enterprise platforms is a plus.

Compensation

$66.50-$77.00 Hourly
