Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a Contract Attorney to provide litigation support for a plaintiff-side antitrust practice in Los Angeles, California. This Contract position is expected to run through September, with the possibility of extension, and offers a flexible workload of approximately 20 to 40 hours per week in a fully remote setting. The attorney in this role will contribute to case development by analyzing discovery materials, preparing for depositions, and helping the legal team organize critical evidence efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Review large volumes of case documents and assess their relevance to active antitrust matters.
• Examine records within the firm’s document management platform and identify materials that warrant closer legal analysis.
• Prepare attorneys for depositions by assembling exhibits, organizing supporting files, and drafting outline materials.
• Track and categorize important evidence to support broader litigation strategy and case preparation.
• Maintain a structured and efficient review process within Relativity to ensure consistency across assignments.
• Collaborate with legal team members to surface key facts and strengthen ongoing plaintiff-side case work.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree and an active bar membership in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience handling document review in a litigation environment.
• Working knowledge of discovery processes and evidence assessment.
• Background supporting deposition preparation and related case organization.
• Familiarity with antitrust matters or antitrust and trade regulation work.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities remotely, and handle a variable weekly schedule.

Compensation

$57.00-$66.00 Hourly
