Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Norristown, PA 19401, US Contract
Compensation: $32 Hourly

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a busy organization in Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee support, compliance, recruiting, and day-to-day HR operations in an onsite environment. The role offers the chance to partner closely with leadership and staff, strengthen HR processes, and contribute to a positive and well-managed workplace.


Responsibilities:

• Guide employees and managers through workplace concerns, conduct fact-based investigations, support corrective action, and coordinate smooth onboarding and separation processes.

• Manage full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate coordination, interviewing support, and compliant selection practices.

• Administer performance management activities by organizing review cycles, supporting goal-setting efforts, and advising supervisors on employee development matters.

• Plan and deliver training initiatives, track required compliance learning, and help organize development programs and staff engagement activities.

• Maintain accurate HR records and employee data, support payroll-related administration, and help improve the efficiency of HR procedures and documentation.

• Oversee benefits and leave administration, assist with open enrollment, and serve as a resource to employees regarding available programs and policies.

• Monitor HR practices for compliance with employment laws and internal standards, prepare reports and audit-related information, and safeguard confidential information.

• Support compensation administration by helping maintain equitable pay practices and assisting with personnel budgeting activities.


Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist or broad HR support capacity.
• Demonstrated background in employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and benefits support.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate employee records and reporting.
• Experience coordinating recruiting and hiring processes while following fair and compliant employment practices.
• Strong organizational skills with a process-focused approach to managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees, managers, and leadership across a range of HR topics.
• Experience supporting performance review processes, training efforts, or employee development programs.

Compensation

$32.00-$32.00 Hourly
