Human Resources (HR) Manager
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead onboarding and workplace operations for a fast growing tech commpany. This position focuses on creating a smooth and engaging experience for new hires from acceptance through their first 90 days while maintaining a well-run office environment. The role also partners across people, operations, and business teams to strengthen manager readiness, improve employee experience, and support efficient workplace programs.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the end-to-end onboarding journey, ensuring each new employee receives a coordinated and positive experience from offer acceptance through their first 90 days.
• Facilitate weekly orientation sessions and ensure new hires are set up with the tools, access, workspace, schedules, and support needed to begin successfully.
• Develop and refine onboarding resources such as manager playbooks, communication templates, checklists, and milestone-based ramp plans for the first 30, 60, and 90 days.
• Work closely with Recruiting, People Operations, IT, Security, Payroll, Facilities, and hiring managers to keep onboarding tasks on schedule and resolve gaps quickly.
• Enhance onboarding processes within HR systems and apply automation or AI-enabled tools to reduce manual follow-up, improve status visibility, and streamline repetitive questions.
• Monitor onboarding completion metrics, employee and manager feedback, unresolved issues, and early productivity indicators to identify trends and improve outcomes.
• Create clear expectations for manager participation before start dates, during the first week, and throughout the first 90 days, while following up on missed actions.
• Oversee the daily office experience including workplace communications, facilities coordination, vendor management, compliance documentation, and service standards.
• Support workplace budgeting and spend tracking in partnership with Finance, while maintaining operating procedures, calendars, trackers, and recurring office routines.
• Plan onsite employee experience initiatives such as welcome events, recognition activities, and office programs that strengthen engagement, connection, and retention.
Qualifications:
• Experience leading employee onboarding programs and improving new employee processes within a fast-paced organization.• Background in human resources administration, employee relations, and workplace or office operations management.
• Knowledge of HRIS platforms and comfort using technology to manage workflows, reporting, and process improvement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners including Recruiting, IT, Payroll, Security, Facilities, Finance, and people managers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain detailed trackers, and ensure timely follow-through.
• Experience working with vendors, budgets, service levels, and compliance-related workplace documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for employee updates, manager guidance, and workplace program coordination.
• Capability to analyze feedback and operational data to improve onboarding, office experience, and employee engagement initiatives.
Compensation
