Auditor
Responsibilities:
• Conduct audit testing across accounts payable, human resources, investments, treasury, loan servicing, and fixed asset activity using a roll-forward approach.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain audit documentation within AuditBoard or a similar automated workpaper platform to support clear and complete testing records.
• Evaluate financial and operational processes to identify control issues, exceptions, and areas of potential risk.
• Analyze supporting documentation and transaction activity to validate completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards.
• Coordinate with business and control owners to obtain records, clarify process details, and resolve outstanding audit questions.
• Summarize testing results and communicate observations in a concise manner for audit stakeholders and leadership.
• Support ongoing audit execution by tracking open items, updating workpapers, and helping maintain progress against project timelines.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience performing audit testing within banking or broader financial services environments.• Hands-on familiarity with automated workpaper tools, preferably AuditBoard.
• Demonstrated ability to perform roll-forward testing across multiple business or accounting functions.
• Strong risk analysis skills with the ability to assess controls and identify exceptions.
• Solid understanding of audit documentation standards and evidence retention practices.
• Ability to review detailed financial and operational information with a high degree of accuracy.
• Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders and presenting findings clearly.
