Accounts Receivable Clerk

A growing commercial services company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support its accounting department with customer billing and payment processing. This role is ideal for someone looking to continue building their accounting career while gaining valuable experience in a busy corporate environment. You'll work closely with customers, accounting staff, and operations to ensure invoices are processed accurately and payments are applied promptly.
Responsibilities
- Generate customer invoices and statements
- Post daily cash receipts and ACH payments
- Monitor aging reports and assist with collections follow-up
- Research customer account discrepancies
- Reconcile customer balances
- Maintain accurate customer records
- Assist with month-end reporting
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of accounts receivable or billing experience
- Strong data entry and Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with accounting software preferred
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
