An excellent opportunity to join the Department of Surgery Research Administration team, this position will be responsible for post-award research administration processes for a multi-million-dollar federal contract. Performs post award accounting duties and financial analysis for a multi-million-dollar federal contract, moderately complex grants and contracts. Prepares routine and monthly financial reports and government reports, monitors budgets and preparations, and processes invoices for subcontractors, consultants, and service agreements. Monitors account activity, performs internal audits, resolves routine issues, and provides policy and procedure interpretation. Recommends operational improvements. Experience in the Panther Express system, Excel, Concur system, PERIS/My Funding system, Tableau and Fiscal Panther.
A Bachelor's degree and 1 year work experience. Certified Research Administrator (CRA) a plus.
