We are looking to hire a Mission Integration Specialist / Joint Fires Targeting Specialist to join our team at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, Mexico. This position will support the Joint Interagency Task Force - Counter Cartel (JIATF-CC), which synchronizes interagency intelligence, planning, and operational support to disrupt cartel and transnational criminal organization networks.

The Mission Integration Specialist / Joint Fires Targeting Specialist will be responsible for the following:

• Coordinate the JIATF-CC targeting process and develop targeting products.
• Maintain and disseminate joint target lists while supporting operational deconfliction.
• Provide joint targeting expertise for strategic and operational planning and execution.
• Support Operational Planning Teams in developing lethal and non-lethal targeting options.
• Prepare and present targeting-related Joint Operational Planning Process products.
• Develop position papers, reports, briefings, and other targeting documentation.
• Manage and leverage classified information, materials, databases, and systems.
• Perform other duties reasonably related to the requirements of the position.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience successfully performing duties associated with joint targeting, mission integration, or related operational focus areas.
• Experience managing the targeting cycle and conducting joint fires planning to achieve lethal and non-lethal effects.
• Experience conducting strategic and operational planning, including at least five years of Special Operations targeting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of intelligence tools available on JWICS for target development.
• Must be willing to travel as needed.

Required Security Clearance:

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting combatant commands, joint task forces, interagency partners, Special Operations forces, or counter-transnational criminal organization missions.
• Advanced knowledge of the Joint Operational Planning Process, joint targeting methodologies, and interagency operational coordination.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform primarily office-based duties, use standard computer and communications equipment for extended periods, and work all assigned shifts, including nights and weekends.
