In this role, you will:
- Support the performance of less experienced Insurance Analysts and enhance overall team effectiveness
- Review and interpret commercial Property and Liability insurance documents, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs), endorsements, and policies
- Analyze loan documents and compare insurance coverage requirements to ensure compliance with lender and regulatory requirements
- Identify gaps, discrepancies, or non-compliance in insurance coverage and escalate issues appropriately to stakeholders
- Provide operational, documentation, and customer service support related to insurance compliance within loan servicing
- Resolve complex client inquiries related to insurance requirements, coverage, and documentation
- Use independent judgment to evaluate insurance submissions and ensure adherence to federal, state, client, and company policies and procedures
- Analyze trends in exceptions, compliance issues, and process gaps to recommend improvements and enhance operational efficiency
- Provide subject matter expertise on commercial insurance requirements and internal procedures to less experienced team members
- Prepare clear and professional written communications for internal stakeholders and external clients regarding insurance deficiencies and resolutions
- Actively collaborate with loan servicing teams, credit teams, and other internal partners on insurance-related servicing activities
- Participate in team meetings, audits, and training sessions, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff
- Contribute ideas and recommendations for improving tools, processes, and workflows within the insurance compliance function
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Loan Servicing support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
- Experience in Loan Servicing support, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education

Job Expectations:
Strong knowledge of Commercial Property & Liability Insurance (non-flood) coverage requirements for commercial loan portfolios
Ability to evaluate property coverage adequacy (replacement cost, coinsurance, deductibles, and valuation methods)
Proficiency in reviewing General Liability, Property, Umbrella/Excess Liability, and Business Interruption policies
Experience interpreting and validating Certificates of Insurance (COIs), policies, binders, and endorsements

Understanding of key insurance clauses, including:
- Additional Insured (ongoing & completed operations)
- Lender’s Loss Payee / Mortgagee Clause
- Waiver of Subrogation
- Primary & Non-Contributory wording
- Notice of Cancellation / Non-Renewal provisions
Ability to interpret loan agreements and insurance covenants to determine non-flood insurance requirements
Experience identifying coverage gaps and compliance deficiencies (e.g., insufficient limits, missing endorsements, incorrect named insured)
Familiarity with insurance renewals tracking and exception management processes
Knowledge of hazard/property insurance risks (fire, theft, natural perils excluding flood) and required protections
Ability to coordinate with borrowers, brokers, and agents to obtain compliant coverage and resolve deficiencies
Experience handling escalations related to non-compliance in insurance coverage
Strong understanding of lender and investor insurance guidelines (non-flood)
Ability to support and guide team members on non-flood insurance requirements and document review
Strong analytical and documentation skills for insurance validation and audit readiness
