Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Partner with supervisors and department leaders to address employee matters and provide guidance on human resources policies, practices, and workplace issues.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle by coordinating recruiting activities, reviewing candidates, supporting interviews, overseeing pre-employment steps, and guiding new employees through onboarding.
• Communicate updates to personnel policies and procedures while helping ensure consistent application and compliance across the organization.
• Administer key HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leave processes, and employee recognition initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee documentation and HR records while safeguarding confidential personnel information.
• Support workforce development efforts by identifying training needs and contributing to employee growth and development initiatives.
• Assist with HR administration and reporting, including the effective use of HR information systems to keep data current and organized.
• Provide general human resources support as needed and contribute to additional projects or assignments that support business and employee needs.
Qualifications:
• Experience in human resources administration with working knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, benefits, and recruiting activities.• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving ability when handling employee matters and day-to-day HR issues.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and care.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• HR certification, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, preferred.
Compensation
