Financial Analyst
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a well established organization in Coconut Creek, Florida. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment, enjoys working with complex datasets, and can turn detailed financial and operational information into meaningful business insight. The role calls for strong Excel capability, a sharp analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both finance and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Create, update, and streamline recurring reports for internal stakeholders and external business needs, with a focus on improving efficiency and consistency.
• Gather information from multiple sources, combine large datasets, and perform detailed analysis to support finance and operational decision-making.
• Examine data for trends, irregularities, and meaningful patterns, then translate results into practical recommendations.
• Build and maintain structured databases, data files, and reporting tools that improve data quality and reporting accuracy.
• Consolidate financial and operational information into clear management reports that support planning, forecasting, and performance review.
• Use analytical software and advanced spreadsheet functions to produce metrics, highlight performance drivers, and support ad hoc analysis.
• Review source data carefully to confirm completeness, accuracy, and integrity, and resolve discrepancies when inconsistencies are identified.
Qualifications:
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work extensively with large files, formulas, and data manipulation tools.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, reporting, data analysis, or a related business function.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, variance analysis, or ad hoc reporting.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative in resolving business issues, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to meet deadlines, support business outcomes, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Exposure to ERP or organizational database systems is preferred.
