Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Assistant to support daily logistics operations in Santa Clara, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who works well in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate, organized material flow. The role focuses on handling incoming and outgoing inventory, preparing supplies for field use, and helping keep warehouse activities safe and efficient.

Responsibilities:
• Verify incoming deliveries against shipping documents and report any discrepancies or damaged items.
• Arrange materials, tools, and equipment in designated storage areas to maintain an orderly warehouse layout.
• Prepare and stage items for pickup, dispatch, or delivery to project teams and field personnel.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, equipment, and returned materials from job sites.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety practices throughout the warehouse to support daily operations.
• Help assemble and ready materials for transport to local project locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse support, logistics, shipping, receiving, or material handling is preferred.

• Comfortable with physically active work that may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Experience working with construction supplies or electrical materials is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep materials organized and accurately tracked.

• Dependable work habits and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation

$23.75-$27.50 Hourly
