Assistant Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly creative and hands-on Assistant Marketing & Social Content Manager with strong design skills to support our marketing efforts during a transitional period. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, work independently, and take ownership of creating and publishing content while supporting a variety of day-to-day marketing initiatives. This position is onsite in Philadelphia.

This is not a strategy-only position. We need a doer who enjoys creating content, designing marketing materials, managing social channels, and keeping projects moving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, write, design, and publish engaging content across social media platforms
• Develop branded marketing assets including graphics, flyers, signage, templates, and other promotional materials
• Capture and edit photos and short-form video content for social media, including Reels and Stories
• Maintain social media content calendars and schedule posts using appropriate management tools
• Monitor social engagement and respond or escalate as needed
• Support email marketing campaigns, website updates, and other marketing initiatives
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders while managing multiple projects and deadlines independently

Qualifications:

• Experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, or a related role
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
• Proven ability to create compelling social content, including photography and video editing
• Experience scheduling and managing content across social platforms
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and Mailchimp strongly preferred
• Experience with website content management systems and/or Shopify is a plus
• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
