IT Systems Engineer IV

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for the architecture, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. This individual will play a key role in designing scalable Teamcenter environments at a large aerospace manufacturing company, driving system enhancements, and partnering with engineering and business stakeholders to optimize product data management throughout the product development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise with Siemens Teamcenter, enterprise system integrations, and PLM architecture, along with the ability to lead complex technical initiatives from planning through deployment.
Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain enterprise PLM solutions, integrations, and supporting infrastructure. Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop scalable solutions that support organizational objectives. Lead the design, development, and support of Teamcenter enhancements while troubleshooting complex production issues. Review and approve system architecture, configuration changes, and technical solution designs. Develop and maintain Teamcenter components, including BMIDE, workflows, preferences, reports, and custom extensions. Define data models, database configurations, integration strategies, and customization approaches. Evaluate implementation options and determine the most effective balance between standard functionality and custom development. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and security requirements, including CMMC, DFARS, and ITAR. Develop monitoring, alerting, and operational support strategies for PLM environments. Support application deployments across development, testing, and production environments. Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and solution specifications. Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing technical guidance following implementation. Mentor entry level engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the team.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience administering, configuring, or developing Siemens Teamcenter solutions. Proven experience leading full lifecycle Teamcenter implementations across multiple business units. Experience managing enterprise Teamcenter rollouts across multiple locations using phased deployment strategies. Strong background developing and executing Teamcenter upgrade strategies. Experience implementing MCAD and ECAD integrations. Hands-on experience integrating PLM platforms with upstream and downstream enterprise systems. Strong understanding of Teamcenter distributed architecture and enterprise deployments. Experience planning and executing data migration projects, including validation and quality assurance. Proficiency developing with Teamcenter technologies such as ITK, SOA, and REST APIs. Programming experience with Java and C++. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting other PLM platforms such as Agile PLM or Windchill. Familiarity with engineering and product data management tools including DOORS, EWM, and RPE. Experience troubleshooting XML-based integrations and configurations. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for work tracking, configuration, and release management. Experience administering Windows Server environments. Strong SQL skills with experience creating reports and querying enterprise data.
