Sr. Treasury Accountant

Compensation: $90 to $110 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Treasury Accountant to support cash management and liquidity planning for a dynamic finance organization in Morristown, New Jersey. This position plays a central role in maintaining strong banking operations, delivering accurate treasury reporting, and helping leadership make informed funding decisions. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of corporate treasury practices and a proactive approach to improving controls, efficiency, and financial visibility.

Responsibilities:
• Direct daily cash positioning activities and develop forward-looking forecasts to maintain adequate liquidity across the organization.
• Serve as the primary contact for banking partners, while upholding internal control standards and adherence to established banking terms.
• Execute and coordinate fund movements such as intercompany transactions, investment activity, debt-related payments, and operational disbursements.
• Review account balances, perform cash reconciliations, and identify opportunities to reduce banking costs and improve account structure.
• Drive efforts to strengthen working capital performance, enhance treasury workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and reinforce financial controls.
• Provide treasury analysis to management on near-term and long-range cash flow trends, borrowing availability, and foreign exchange exposure.
• Produce accurate and timely liquidity and cash reporting for leadership to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with applicable organizational policies and external regulatory requirements affecting treasury operations.
• Collaborate with accounting, tax, and FP& A teams on audit support activities and broader process improvement initiatives.
• Assess treasury technology needs and recommend enhancements that improve operational effectiveness and reporting capability.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CTP preferred

·      3+ years of treasury experience, ideally at a distribution, chemical, or manufacturing company

·      Experience with multi-entity cash management and banking platforms

·      Strong analytical and Excel/modeling skills

·      In-depth understanding of cash management products, bank documentation, and internal controls

·      Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work independently

·      Experience implementing treasury systems or process automation a plus

$90,000.00-$110,000.00 Yearly
