Part-Time Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Invoice Clerk to support accurate and timely record management in Lansing, Michigan. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling high-volume data tasks, maintaining organized information, and working with financial and administrative records. The successful candidate will contribute to day-to-day data processing while helping ensure information is entered correctly and efficiently across business systems.

Responsibilities:

• Enter numeric and text-based information into company systems with a high level of accuracy and consistency.

• Review source documents and records to verify completeness before updating databases or files.

• Process invoice-related information and confirm approved invoices are recorded correctly.

• Maintain organized electronic records and update existing entries as new information becomes available.

• Use QuickBooks and other computer-based tools to input, track, and manage data efficiently.

• Identify discrepancies in entered information and escalate issues for correction when needed.

• Support finance department, while meeting established productivity and quality expectations.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in data entry or a similar administrative support role.

• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter information quickly and accurately.

• Experience working with numeric data and high-volume record entry.

• Proficiency with computer data entry systems and standard office software.

• Familiarity with approved invoice processing and record documentation.

• Working knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
