Clinical Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Support Specialist to support daily clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Clinical Support Specialist opening ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information. Please note that the Clinical Support Specialist is an onsite role in Palo Alto, CA with one of our prestigious healthcare clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical and administrative teams. Success in this role will come from strong communication, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Log and track incoming samples with a high degree of accuracy.
• Enter and manage test orders according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve questions or issues with physicians and clinical stakeholders.
• Compile meeting agendas and support administrative coordination efforts.
• Maintain and organize paper-based files and documentation.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance when handling confidential information, including PHI/PII.
• Support operational processes and assist with additional administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required, a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with EPIC (Plus if you have experience in mTilda.)
• Understanding of PHI/PII handling standards and healthcare confidentiality requirements.
