Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a growing team in Plant City, Florida in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position supports accounting operations across multiple lines of business and is ideal for someone who can manage day-to-day financial activity with accuracy and consistency. The right candidate will be comfortable handling invoicing, purchase documentation, reconciliations, and bookkeeping records while working within QuickBooks and construction-related software platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain complete bookkeeping records for four separate business lines, ensuring financial data is entered accurately and kept up to date.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, managing a daily workload of approximately 10 to 15 invoices with close attention to detail.
• Process and organize purchase orders, contracts, and supporting financial documentation for accounting records.
• Perform regular account and bank reconciliations to verify balances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support both accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including tracking incoming and outgoing transactions.
• Enter financial and operational data into QuickBooks and construction management software to maintain reliable reporting.
• Review accounting information for accuracy and completeness, following up on missing or inconsistent details as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in full charge bookkeeping, including oversight of day-to-day accounting functions.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and confidence working within computerized accounting systems.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and organization.
• Ability to manage invoicing, purchase orders, and supporting contract documentation efficiently.
• Experience in the construction industry or familiarity with construction accounting software is preferred.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities across different business entities while meeting deadlines.

Compensation

$27.55-$31.90 Hourly
