Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly close process by coordinating timelines, reviewing entries, and confirming that financial data is finalized accurately and on schedule.
• Oversee general ledger activity, ensuring transactions are recorded properly and balances are supported by complete documentation.
• Prepare and review journal entries while maintaining strong controls around accuracy, approvals, and account classification.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
• Support financial statement audit activities by organizing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and validating supporting records.
• Monitor accounting processes for consistency and compliance, recommending improvements where greater efficiency or accuracy is needed.
• Produce and review financial reports to identify unusual fluctuations, explain variances, and support management decision-making.
• Utilize NetSuite to manage accounting records, reporting workflows, and data integrity across key financial processes.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including responsibility for close activities and financial review.• Demonstrated background in general ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.
• Experience supporting financial statement audits and working with audit documentation.
• Proficiency with month-end close procedures and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Hands-on experience using NetSuite or a similar ERP system in an accounting environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate priorities across accounting responsibilities.
Compensation
