Sr. Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Create, test, and release full-stack applications using React, AWS services, and modern programming languages to support business-critical platforms.
• Turn functional needs and business goals into scalable technical designs that balance performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Influence application architecture by recommending improvements that strengthen stability, extensibility, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and optimize cloud-based solutions using services such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Redshift while maintaining strong availability and cost awareness.
• Build and support APIs and integration layers, including GraphQL and WSO2-based services, to enable dependable communication across systems.
• Write automation scripts and shared utilities in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python to streamline recurring tasks and improve platform reliability.
• Design efficient database queries and data structures that preserve accuracy, support reporting needs, and improve application responsiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, QA professionals, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software and clear technical outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance to team members, promote sound engineering practices, and explain complex concepts in a way that supports informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.• At least 5 years of experience delivering software solutions in a full-stack engineering environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Practical experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, including work with Lambda, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
• Demonstrated background designing APIs, integrations, and microservices in distributed application environments.
• Solid understanding of database development, query tuning, and data performance optimization.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
