Receptionist

We are looking for a welcoming and dependable Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Stamford, Connecticut. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive first impression, assisting visitors, and keeping communication flowing smoothly throughout the office. The person in this role will provide attentive service to clients arriving for practice or coaching sessions while offering general administrative support to both clients and coaches.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors upon arrival, provide direction, and ensure a courteous and friendly front-desk experience.
• Assist clients checking in for practice sessions or coaching appointments and help address routine questions or needs.
• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, route messages accurately, and connect callers to the appropriate contacts.
• Maintain an organized reception area that reflects an inviting environment for guests and staff.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support for coaches and clients to help office activities run efficiently.
• Monitor visitor flow and coordinate front-desk communication to support smooth scheduling and arrival processes.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or customer-facing support role.
• Comfortable handling inbound calls and operating a multi-line or switchboard phone system.
• Basic computer proficiency for routine office and communication tasks.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong interpersonal and client-service skills.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and remain composed in a busy setting.
• Clear verbal communication skills and a dependable approach to daily responsibilities.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
