Concierge

We are looking for an experienced and service-focused Concierge to support visitors and occupants at a busy property in New York, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, creating a welcoming environment, and helping people navigate the building and surrounding area with confidence. The person in this role will deliver attentive front-of-house support, answer everyday questions, and provide helpful guidance on onsite amenities and nearby destinations.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests, tenants, and visitors at the concierge desk with a courteous and attentive approach.
• Respond to routine questions and offer clear, accurate information about the property, building services, and general visitor needs.
• Help individuals find their way throughout the property by explaining locations, routes, and points of access.
• Offer recommendations for nearby dining, retail, and local attractions when appropriate to enhance the visitor experience.
• Maintain steady coverage of the concierge area during scheduled hours and ensure the front desk remains organized and guest-ready.
• Assist with general front-of-house support tasks that contribute to smooth daily operations and positive interactions.
• Address visitor requests promptly while using sound judgment to escalate concerns when needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in customer-facing, hospitality, concierge, or front desk support roles is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency with the ability to handle routine administrative or information-related tasks.
• Friendly, approachable, and detail-oriented communication style with a strong focus on service.
• Ability to provide clear directions and helpful information to a wide range of visitors.
• Comfortable working onsite and maintaining a consistent presence at the concierge desk during assigned shifts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain composed and attentive in a busy environment.

Compensation

$17.00-$18.00 Hourly
