Applied AI Solutions Consultant

We are looking for an Applied AI Solutions Consultant to support a Contract engagement based in New York, New York. This role will partner with finance stakeholders across tax, treasury, accounting, FP& A, and audit-related functions to uncover high-value opportunities for AI adoption and turn ideas into practical outcomes. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative setting and can translate business needs into scalable solutions that strengthen efficiency, insight generation, and decision support.

Responsibilities:
• Assess processes across multiple finance and risk functions to pinpoint inefficiencies, workflow bottlenecks, and areas where AI can create measurable value.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with business teams to gather requirements, understand operational pain points, and shape solution priorities.
• Design and build AI-enabled automations, prototypes, and use cases that align with day-to-day business objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed AI tools into existing workflows and encourage effective adoption across teams.
• Deliver hands-on solutions that improve process speed, data visibility, and the quality of business decision-making.
• Translate strategic AI opportunities into executable work plans, moving initiatives from concept through implementation with urgency.
• Collaborate in a lean environment with cross-functional partners to refine ideas, test solutions, and iterate based on feedback.
• Support integration considerations involving enterprise platforms and data exchange processes where needed to enable practical deployment.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience leading discovery activities and converting business needs into actionable AI or automation solutions.
• Background working with finance-related functions such as tax, treasury, accounting, FP& A, internal audit, risk, or cybersecurity.
• Practical knowledge of AI enablement, workflow automation, and solution delivery in business environments.
• Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and enterprise resource planning concepts.
• Experience with Prophet 21, Prophet, or comparable business systems is preferred.
• Ability to operate independently in a project-based role while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business users.

Compensation

$101.65-$107.00 Hourly
