Receptionist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support front desk operations for a contract position. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create a welcoming and organized office environment. The position is best suited for someone who communicates clearly, manages routine administrative tasks efficiently, and is comfortable working in a quieter lobby setting.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors at the front desk and provide courteous, helpful assistance upon arrival.
• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
• Maintain an orderly reception area and ensure the front entrance experience reflects a well-organized environment.
• Handle basic administrative support tasks such as taking messages, relaying information, and assisting with general office coordination.
• Monitor guest arrivals and departures while serving as a reliable on-site presence at the building entrance.
• Communicate clearly with internal staff and external guests to support smooth daily front desk operations.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role.
• Ability to operate a multi-line telephone or switchboard system with accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous, service-oriented approach.
• Comfortable answering inbound calls and managing visitor interactions throughout the day.
• Dependable organizational skills with the ability to handle routine tasks independently.
• Availability for a part-time schedule as needed for the assignment.

Compensation

$19.00-$20.00 Hourly
