Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst for a full-time engagement opportunity with one of our valued clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP& A), financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business partnering. The ideal candidate will provide meaningful financial insights, influence key business decisions, and support executive leadership through data-driven analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of financial analyses, executive reports, and performance dashboards
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and strategic initiatives
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, providing detailed variance analysis and actionable recommendations
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes in partnership with department leaders
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance, support operational initiatives, and drive strategic decision-making
• Perform profitability, pricing, capital investment, and cost-benefit analyses
• Prepare presentations and financial summaries for senior leadership and executive management
• Support mergers and acquisitions, business case development, and special finance projects as needed
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, models, and analytical data
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and financial planning capabilities

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 5–8+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP& A, corporate finance, or related roles
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial planning methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and complex formulas
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence business partners and executive leadership
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification preferred
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday
• Experience with financial planning and reporting platforms such as Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Anaplan, or OneStream
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
• Experience supporting executive leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional business initiatives
