Sourcing Analyst
Financial Operations, Strategic Sourcing is searching for a temporary Sourcing Analyst. Duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:
• Gathers, compiles, and analyzes sourcing data and purchasing activities; identifies potential saving opportunities, assists with the creation of sourcing strategies, and drives continuous improvements.
• Creates, validates, and distributes various performance indicator and spending reports; performs data mining to identify potential saving opportunities; audits contracts to ensure adherence and takes corrective action as needed.
• Maintains Spend Analytics Tool by monitoring help ticket portal and logs all responses for future use, trains internal team and serves as
a primary point of contact for issues and requests; drives continuous improvement through spend management and maintains data classification in system.
• Participates and supports sourcing initiatives from launch to implementation; participate in cross functional teams, process improvement initiatives, and other special projects; aids in preparation of departmental written reports, presentations and associated graphs and charts.
• Recommends process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
A Bachelor's degree in business management or supply chain management preferred. Experience with relational databases, data visualization tools (ex: Tableau), Microsoft Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are required. Experience with Claude, Power BI, or other AI tools preferred. Someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication skills; flexible, enthusiastic approach to work; must be able to present, interpret, discuss or write about conclusions, inferences and results gained from analyzing data; ability to multi task.
