Required License/Registration/Certification
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) through ADRMS required at time of hire. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Fetal Echocardiography (RDCS-FE) required within one year.
Physical Requirements
Being able to travel long distances across the enterprise, regularly lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects over 50 lbs, regular exposure to repetitive motion, occasional exposure to radiation, hazardous chemicals, bloodborne/airborne pathogens, cuts and punctures. Regular (1-2x per week) job related travel.

Job Summary
Golisano Children’s at UK HealthCare is seeking an experienced Pediatric Echocardiography Supervisor to provide clinical, technical, and supervisory leadership for pediatric, fetal, and congenital echocardiography services. This role supports inpatient, outpatient, intra-operative, outreach, and tele-echocardiography within a nationally recognized pediatric heart program.

The Supervisor serves as the Technical Director for IAC Pediatric Echocardiography, leads echocardiography quality and accreditation efforts, and oversees sonographer supervision, staff development, and competency management. Limited clinical practice is maintained to support advanced echocardiography oversight and complex studies.

This position is part of the Joint Pediatric Heart Care Program with Cincinnati Children’s, offering the opportunity to contribute to a growing pediatric cardiology program focused on high-quality, patient-centered care, education, and innovation.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Excellent communication skills; customer service focused; problem solving and critical thinking are a must. Fetal Echocardiology certification preferred.
