This position supports the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Command, Control, Communications (C3C) Directorate, Kessel Run Division by providing cybersecurity engineering support for the Air Operations Center (AOC) mission. Working alongside Government personnel, you will help secure mission-critical systems that enable the Department of the Air Force Battle Network (DAF BATTLE NETWORK) to deliver resilient command and control capabilities that provide warfighters with a decisive operational advantage.

Kessel Run is an Air Force software development organization responsible for rapidly delivering resilient command and control and targeting capabilities that connect weapon systems, operators, and decision makers. As part of the Department of the Air Force Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (DAF PEO C3BM), Kessel Run develops technologies that enable the Joint Force to make operational decisions faster than our adversaries in an era of great power competition.

In this role, you will support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) suite while assisting with enterprise vulnerability management, compliance assessments, and cybersecurity operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Generate reports detailing vulnerability status, compliance posture, and remediation progress.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and technical teams to facilitate vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Assist with system administration of ACAS servers and supporting databases.
  • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain documentation supporting cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, and compliance activities.
  • Support continuous improvement of the organization's cybersecurity posture through proactive vulnerability assessment and risk reduction efforts.
