Our Quality Assurance Team is looking for a technician to assist with performing inspections to ensure compliance with specifications. The technician will follow pre-established guidelines, procedures and engineering specifications set forth by the Quality Assurance Specialist. This position requires the following :

  • Requires a high school degree or its equivalent.
  • Requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Can perform hands-on skilled work (hardware or software) under supervision.
  • Can work in collaboration with and under the supervision of an engineer or scientist who is providing supervision and prescribing the means to accomplishing the project goals and objectives. The lead quality assurance specialist will perform the following that the Technician is expected to assist with:
    Perform Quality Assurance inspections to ensure compliance with specifications. Perform inspections of mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystems. Inspect components during fabrication, installation, assembly, testing, modifications, or repairs. Perform product verification via Mandatory Inspection Points and Government Mandatory Inspection Points. May perform receiving inspection on test articles, and test support equipment. Documents discrepancies for facilities and hardware. Witness assembly of hardware and facility/test buildup. Witness and verify technician workmanship. Witness test build-up configuration and tests. Verify contamination control requirements. Adheres to published safety procedures.
