Martin/Martin is seeking an Assistant Administrative Manager in support of our Denver office. The hired individual will support the administrative team in our corporate department.

The Team


The corporate team at Martin/Martin, Inc. supports the following engineering teams below:


Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver.


Our structural engineering teams provide custom solutions for new constructions and expansions, with a strong record in notable projects like Coors Field, the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, and Harborcenter.


Our investigative engineers are pivotal in supporting ongoing projects by planning and implementing repairs, renovations, and improvements for buildings and sites. 


Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing office management, including supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination
  • Oversee and manage the Administrative Assistants
  • Participate in interviews
  • Conduct employee performance reviews for direct reports
  • Assist with developing strategies for increasing workplace efficiency
  • Support ongoing learning and development of team members
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, specifications, and other documents
  • Coordinate company-wide communications, internal events, and meeting logistics
  • Collaborate with Administrative Manager to achieve team and company goals
Requirements:


Required

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, office administration, management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years in administrative services, office management, or a similar role
  • Minimum 3 years of direct team management experience
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information
  • Provides exceptional customer service
  • Ability to implement procedures and direct others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent work ethic and proven ability to manage
  • Collaborates effectively with others
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

Desired

  • Working knowledge of accounting and marketing database systems
  • Experience working in engineering firms, professional service firms, or other firms with technically focused employees

Working Conditions, Skills, and Abilities


This position is primarily administrative in nature, working mostly inside of the office completing a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:

  • Completing repetitive movement on tasks such as using a mouse or keyboard AI Assist
  • Read, communicate, and document in English
  • Ability to identify color
  • Determine and exchange accurate information
  • Occasionally move about outside of the office
  • Occasionally move or hold objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Compensation


The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

  • Base Salary: For individuals hired in Colorado, a reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $78,000 to $83,000 annually.
  • Base Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martin’s annual base salary increase review process.
  • Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program. 

Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual’s job-level and annual company performance.
