Sr. Business Aligned Finance Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Aligned Finance Analyst to support balance sheet and revenue forecasting for the Credit Card business. This role will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely forecasts, insightful month-end reporting, and clear variance analysis to support business performance management. The analyst will play a critical role in running and maintaining core forecast models, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to finance and business partners


In this role, you will:

  • Execute balance sheet and revenue forecasting models, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-documented outputs
  • Deliver month-end financial reporting, including balances, revenue, and key performance metrics
  • Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. forecast, forecast vs. prior) and provide clear, actionable commentary on key drivers
  • Analyze trends in balances and revenue to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging business patterns
  • Partner with finance and business stakeholders to validate assumptions and interpret financial results
  • Support forecast cycles through model updates, overlays, and continuous process improvements
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business performance and decision-making


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in finance, analytics, and/or financial reporting
  • Prior credit card or consumer lending experience
  • Knowledge of Essbase or similar financial reporting and analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of both the financial and strategic aspects of the business to support growth initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organizational environment
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools and their application in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and LiveMeeting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior executive-level audiences


Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule from our Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, and Charlotte, NC locations.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
