Customer Service Rep-Level 2 - Experienced (6 - 10 Years)
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to support a busy customer care operation in Houston, TX. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who can manage complex service issues with professionalism, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. The right candidate will be comfortable working across multiple platforms, documenting interactions thoroughly, and delivering consistent service in a fast-paced environment. Prior exposure to energy or utilities settings is helpful, though not required.
Responsibilities:
• Resolve escalated customer inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and a focus on practical solutions.
• Record customer interactions, case updates, and outcomes accurately to maintain complete and reliable service documentation.
• Use CRM, ticketing, and related business systems efficiently while managing multiple tasks at the same time.
• Investigate billing questions, service concerns, and account-related issues to provide timely and accurate responses.
• Monitor service results against established performance indicators and contribute to strong customer satisfaction outcomes.
• Apply company policies, procedures, and compliance standards consistently during customer interactions and case handling.
• Partner with internal teams such as billing, claims, revenue support, or operations to address customer needs and close open issues.
• Support onboarding, training, or knowledge-sharing efforts by helping reinforce service procedures and best practices when needed.
Qualifications:
• 6-10 years of customer service experience, including handling complex or escalated customer situations.• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to remain clear and detail-oriented under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to de-escalate complaints and guide conversations toward resolution.
• Experience using CRM platforms, ticketing tools, and multiple systems simultaneously.
• High level of accuracy in documentation, research, and follow-up activities.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Familiarity with billing support, claims administration, or related customer account functions is preferred.
• Experience in the energy or utilities industry and Spanish language skills are considered an advantage.
Compensation
