Receptionist

A reputable law firm in Berkeley is seeking a professional and dependable Receptionist to provide front desk support for a two-week temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist who enjoys being the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Manage conference room scheduling and visitor check-ins.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation.
• Provide general office support to attorneys and administrative staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior receptionist or front desk experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy office environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous law firm or legal office experience is highly preferred but not required.
