Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a non-profit organization in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a Contract position focused on maintaining accurate records, entering high volumes of information efficiently, and helping keep administrative data current and organized. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with digital systems, has strong typing ability, and takes pride in precision and consistency.

Responsibilities:
• Enter numeric and text-based information into computer systems with speed and accuracy
• Review source documents carefully and verify details before updating records
• Maintain organized electronic files and ensure data is recorded in the proper format
• Identify missing, duplicate, or inconsistent information and report issues for correction
• Update existing entries as new information becomes available and keep databases current
• Support administrative workflows by processing routine data tasks within required deadlines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience performing data entry in a detail-focused setting
• Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to enter numeric data precisely and consistently
• Comfort using computer-based data entry systems and standard office software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks effectively
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information

Compensation

$17.41-$20.16 Hourly
