Sr Benefits Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Administer employee benefit programs by coordinating enrollments, changes, and terminations while maintaining accurate records and timely processing.
• Evaluate benefit data and plan activity to identify discrepancies, support reporting needs, and improve the accuracy of benefits administration.
• Oversee open enrollment activities, including employee communications, documentation review, and follow-up on elections and eligibility updates.
• Manage leave-related benefit processes, including FMLA administration, with careful attention to policy requirements and documentation standards.
• Conduct claims and billing audits to verify accuracy, resolve variances, and support proper vendor and internal reconciliation.
• Ensure handling of benefits information aligns with HIPAA-regulated privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Partner with HR, payroll, and external providers to address benefit issues, answer questions, and resolve employee concerns efficiently.
• Support compensation and benefits initiatives through analysis, coordination, and process documentation where needed.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in benefits administration, benefits analysis, or a closely related compensation and benefits role.• Demonstrated knowledge of benefit functions, including enrollments, eligibility management, employee support, and vendor coordination.
• Hands-on experience administering FMLA and related leave processes in a compliance-focused environment.
• Familiarity with HIPAA-regulated practices and the ability to manage sensitive employee information with discretion.
• Experience performing claims audits, reviewing benefit data, and resolving discrepancies with a high level of accuracy.
• Proven ability to support open enrollment cycles from preparation through completion.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation
