Sr. Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support the financial operations of our Carol Stream, Illinois team. This role blends hands-on accounting work with broader business partnership, requiring someone who can manage core reporting activities while contributing insights that support stronger financial performance. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working across accounting, budgeting, and day-to-day administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly financial statements and maintain accurate general ledger activity using Sage 100.
• Oversee accounts payable functions and assist with selected accounts receivable tasks to support steady cash flow management.
• Develop, track, and refine budgets to help leadership make informed financial decisions.
• Partner with HR to support payroll-related coordination and other employee-related administrative processes for a workforce of approximately 35 to 40 employees.
• Analyze business results and identify opportunities to improve margins, control costs, and strengthen overall profitability.
• Reconcile financial records, review transactions for accuracy, and help ensure timely period-end close activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial data, answer questions, and support operational planning.
• Take initiative on daily accounting priorities while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Prior experience in a senior accounting, staff accounting, or full-charge bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency with Sage 100, including general ledger management.
• Working knowledge of budgeting, monthly reporting, accounts payable, and basic accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to balance accounting responsibilities with cross-functional support, including coordination with HR.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial results and recommend ways to improve business performance.
• Self-directed work style with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
Compensation
