Human Resources (HR) Business Partner
Responsibilities:
• Act as a trusted HR resource for managers and employees by addressing workplace concerns, guiding policy application, and supporting fair, consistent resolution of employee matters.
• Conduct employee relations reviews and workplace investigations, document findings thoroughly, and recommend appropriate next steps in alignment with company standards and employment regulations.
• Oversee recruiting efforts for operational and site-based roles, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and helping move candidates efficiently through the selection process.
• Review benefits enrollment details and related records to confirm accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support compliance with established plan requirements.
• Examine compensation changes and wage adjustments to verify documentation, consistency, and adherence to internal guidelines and applicable policies.
• Partner with leadership on performance concerns, corrective action, and other sensitive personnel issues while promoting practical, compliant HR decision-making.
• Maintain organized and accurate employee files, HR records, and supporting documentation to strengthen reporting accuracy and audit readiness.
• Assist with onboarding activities and new employee administration to help ensure a smooth and compliant start for incoming employees.
• Evaluate HR forms, policy documents, and job-related materials regularly and recommend updates that improve clarity, consistency, and compliance.
• Support workers’ compensation coordination and other day-to-day employee matters requiring HR follow-through and careful documentation.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in a broad HR Generalist or HR Business Partner capacity.• Demonstrated success handling employee relations matters, including workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, policy interpretation, and employment risk management practices.
• Experience managing recruitment activities for operational, production, or other high-volume workforce environments.
• Background conducting audits related to benefits, compensation, or other HR records with a high level of accuracy.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and their practical application in the workplace.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Previous experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or similarly structured operations is preferred.
Compensation
