Full Stack .NET Developer
We are looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer to join a team in Ankeny, Iowa on a Long-term Contract basis. This position is well suited for a developer who is comfortable working with minimal supervision while building and enhancing applications in the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework, along with a practical understanding of sound application architecture and development standards.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain software solutions using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Develop new application components from the ground up, with an emphasis on clean structure, scalability, and maintainability.
• Create and optimize data access layers using Entity Framework to support reliable application performance.
• Work independently to manage development tasks, resolve technical issues, and deliver high-quality code with limited day-to-day oversight.
• Apply established architecture principles and coding protocols to ensure consistency across solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and explain design decisions to support team alignment and future maintenance.
• Evaluate implementation options and provide thoughtful recommendations to technical leadership based on project needs.
• Contribute to web and application development efforts involving .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and related platforms where needed.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of software development experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem.• Hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET MVC Framework.
• Proficiency in Entity Framework for application data modeling and database interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a self-directed development environment.
• Understanding of common software architecture patterns and best practices for application design.
• Experience writing well-documented, maintainable code and following defined development procedures.
• Familiarity with .NET Framework and exposure to .NET MAUI is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share technical guidance and make informed recommendations.
