We are looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee core close activities and support accurate financial reporting for the organization. This role is responsible for guiding the accounting cycle through monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines while strengthening control over ledger activity and reporting quality. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and a process-improvement mindset to help streamline close operations and maintain compliance with established policies.


Responsibilities:

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to ensure reporting is completed accurately and within required timeframes.

• Prepare and review advanced journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and other period-end adjustments.

• Oversee the general ledger by validating account activity, correcting discrepancies, and maintaining reliable financial records.

• Perform and supervise account reconciliations to support balance sheet accuracy and resolve outstanding variances promptly.

• Partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors by providing schedules, explanations, and supporting documentation during financial statement audits.

• Monitor adherence to organizational and corporate accounting standards, reinforcing consistent application of internal policies.

• Identify inefficiencies in the close process and implement improvements that shorten reporting cycles and enhance accuracy.


Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing month-end close and related financial reporting activities.
• Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation practices.
• Ability to prepare and evaluate complex journal entries with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience supporting or coordinating financial statement audit requirements.
• Solid understanding of accrual-based accounting and period-end adjustment processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective action.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across accounting and business teams.

Compensation

$90,000.00-$105,000.00 Yearly
