Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy of financial records. The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance. This role is ideal for a professional who is organized, deadline-driven, and able to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Prepare financial reports and account analyses for management review
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with audits by gathering documentation and responding to auditor requests
• Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies in financial data
• Contribute to process improvements within accounting operations

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CPA track is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting
