Bookkeer

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day financial records of the organization, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and supporting the overall accounting function. This role manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and cash accounts on a regular basis.
• Process customer invoices, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.
• Assist with month-end close by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support payroll processing and assist with financial reporting as needed.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements to strengthen accounting procedures.

Qualifications:

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
