Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position will play a central role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting timely reporting across multiple entities, and strengthening accounting operations in a global environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on ERP experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally to improve processes and support sound business decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Lead core month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities to ensure complete and timely financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, maintain general ledger accuracy, and oversee accrual activity through proper setup, amortization, and resolution.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies to support reliable balance sheet and income statement reporting.
• Analyze financial results against prior periods and budget expectations, then communicate key drivers and trends to management in a clear and useful manner.
• Manage intercompany accounting across global operations by reconciling balances, coordinating with international teams, and helping reduce recurring differences.
• Support internal and external audit activity by organizing schedules, responding to documentation requests, and following through on open items.
• Partner with accounting leadership to document financial policies, reinforce internal controls, and promote compliance with reporting standards.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and collaborate with colleagues to implement more efficient and scalable processes.
• Share system knowledge and work with cross-functional teams to address reporting needs, improve financial visibility, and support broader finance initiatives.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including senior-level responsibility in financial reporting and close activities.
• Strong background in general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliation.
• Experience working in multi-entity environments with responsibility for intercompany transactions and related reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required; familiarity with Oracle or SAP is also valuable.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze data, identify variances, and support management reporting.
• Proven ability to assist with audit processes and prepare accurate supporting documentation in a timely manner.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvement within a detail-focused finance environment.

Compensation

$85,000.00-$95,000.00 Yearly
