Family Office Associate
Responsibilities:
• Oversee calendar planning, meeting logistics, and day-to-day scheduling to keep priorities organized and on track.
• Draft and format letters, reports, spreadsheets, and presentation materials that support office operations and leadership needs.
• Maintain secure electronic and paper record systems, ensuring important files are accurate, accessible, and properly protected.
• Coordinate communication and document flow with accountants, attorneys, investment professionals, and other outside partners.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of information used for personal financial statements and related reporting packages.
• Track assets, liabilities, and affiliated entities in structured schedules to support accurate financial documentation.
• Compile financial summaries, research findings, and supporting materials for internal review and decision-making.
• Organize records for trusts, limited liability companies, and other related entities while helping monitor planning and documentation activities.
• Contribute to special projects and help improve administrative and financial workflows as office needs evolve.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in administrative support, financial coordination, or a related office-based role.
• Demonstrated discretion, integrity, and professionalism when working with sensitive personal and financial information.
• Working knowledge of financial statements, reporting support, and basic accounting principles.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and follow-through skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work on-site the majority of the week in River Forest, Illinois.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is preferred; familiarity with trusts, estate planning, or private office environments is a plus.
Salary range: $75k-$85k plus bonus
