Interim Finance Director (4-6 Week Assignment)

SANTA FE, NM - ON SITE

A highly respected nonprofit in Santa Fe is seeking an experienced Finance Director to step in during the transition between its outgoing and incoming Finance Director.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned accounting and finance professional to keep operations running smoothly, provide leadership during the transition, and help onboard the new Finance Director upon their arrival.

Details:

• 4-6 week assignment

• Start date: Wednesday, July 22

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

• $40/hour

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in senior-level accounting or finance leadership roles.
• Strong working knowledge of month-end close, general ledger management, and journal entry preparation.
• Proven ability to handle account reconciliations and bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to step into a short-term assignment quickly and manage priorities with minimal ramp-up time.
• Excellent attention to detail and sound problem-solving skills in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience supporting nonprofit accounting operations is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively during periods of organizational change.
