Payroll Specialist

Our client is seeking a Temporary Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations on a part-time basis, working three days per week. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on payroll experience who can ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Based on general knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule for employees. Based on general knowledge.
• Review timekeeping records and resolve payroll discrepancies. Based on general knowledge.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Based on general knowledge.
• Assist with payroll reporting, deductions, garnishments, and tax-related documentation. Based on general knowledge.
• Respond to employee payroll questions in a professional and timely manner. Based on general knowledge.
• Support audits and other payroll-related administrative tasks as needed. Based on general knowledge.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll experience preferred. Based on general knowledge.
• Knowledge of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and employee record management. Based on general knowledge.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, SAP, ADP, or similar platforms is a plus. Based on general knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Based on general knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related office tools. Based on general knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. Based on general knowledge.
