Office Manager

Our client, a well-established and growing professional services organization, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations, people management, accounting administration, and human resources functions.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you will serve as a trusted partner to ownership, helping drive efficiency, support employees, and ensure the organization continues to deliver an exceptional experience for both its team and customers.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys solving problems, balancing competing priorities, and building positive relationships across all levels of an organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day office operations and ensure the business runs efficiently
- Supervise and support a diverse team across multiple departments
- Manage recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance reviews, and other HR activities
- Process bi-weekly payroll and oversee PTO tracking and workforce scheduling
- Handle accounts payable functions, vendor management, deposits, and account reconciliations
- Partner with external accounting resources to support monthly financial reporting
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, track action items, and follow through on key initiatives
- Maintain policies, procedures, and compliance-related documentation
- Assist with facilities, purchasing, technology coordination, and other operational needs
- Serve as a resource for employee and customer concerns, helping resolve issues professionally and effectively
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies

Qualifications:
What We're Looking For
- Previous office management, operations management, business management, HR management, or similar leadership experience
- It would be helpful to have previous medical or healthcare office experience, but not required
- Experience supervising and developing employees
- Working knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and general business administration
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, leadership, vendors, and customers
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion with confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
