Senior Accounting Manager

Compensation: $120 to $140 Yearly

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations in Mira Loma, California and provide accurate, timely financial insight to business leaders. This role will guide the month-end close, strengthen reporting quality, and help shape a disciplined, scalable accounting environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capability, and the ability to improve processes that support growth and sound decision-making.

Responsibilities:
• Direct daily accounting activities across the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial transaction review to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycle, ensuring deadlines are met and financial results are prepared with precision.
• Produce and review financial statements, management reports, and operating analyses that support leadership planning and performance evaluation.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to enhance internal controls, refine accounting procedures, and elevate the reliability of financial data.
• Manage audit readiness by coordinating schedules, documentation, and responses for external audit requirements.
• Develop, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff, fostering a high-performing team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting support by translating financial activity into meaningful insights for operational and strategic planning.
• Identify and implement accounting automation opportunities and system enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading accounting operations, including ownership of close processes, general ledger activity, and financial reporting.
• Strong background in preparing management reporting and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Hands-on knowledge of external audit coordination, account reconciliations, and internal control best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop accounting professionals in a fast-paced business environment.
• Advanced understanding of financial transactions and the impact of accounting decisions on business performance.
• Experience in 3PL, warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or a related operational industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Acumatica, Paycom, or comparable business systems is preferred.

Compensation

$120,000.00-$140,000.00 Yearly
