We are seeking a Tax Senior to join our client's dynamic tax practice and play a key role in serving sophisticated corporate and partnership clients with domestic and international tax needs.

πŸ’Ό WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Tax Senior, you'll take ownership of complex tax engagements while mentoring entry level staff and serving as a trusted resource for clients and team members.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

βœ… Review tax return data input and identify, analyze, and resolve technical tax issues

βœ… Prepare and review complex tax returns, including: Corporate Income Tax Returns (Forms 1120, 1120F, and 1120S) Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065) International Information Returns (Forms 5471 and 5472) Withholding Tax Returns (Form 1042)

βœ… Conduct tax research and provide practical solutions to complex tax matters

βœ… Assist with tax planning strategies for corporate and partnership clients

βœ… Prepare supporting workpapers and documentation for tax engagements

βœ… Respond to IRS and state taxing authority notices and inquiries

βœ… Participate in tax audits, tax due diligence, and special consulting projects

βœ… Draft tax memoranda and communicate findings to management and clients

βœ… Train, mentor, and develop entry level tax professionals

βœ… Build strong client relationships while collaborating with Associates, Seniors, Managers, and Partners

βœ… Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Qualifications:

🌟 IDEAL BACKGROUND

πŸŽ“ Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master's Degree in Accounting or Taxation is a plus

πŸ“‹ Certifications: Actively pursuing CPA and/or EA designation

πŸ“ˆ Experience

Minimum 3+ years of public accounting tax experience. and at least 1 year operating at a Senior Tax Associate level or equivalent

Experience with corporate and partnership taxation


πŸ”₯ PREFERRED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

We're especially interested in professionals who have experience with:

🌍 International Tax Compliance Forms 5471 and 5472 Foreign-owned U.S. entities Cross-border tax reporting requirements
