πΌ WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Tax Senior, you'll take ownership of complex tax engagements while mentoring entry level staff and serving as a trusted resource for clients and team members.
π― Key Responsibilities
β Review tax return data input and identify, analyze, and resolve technical tax issues
β Prepare and review complex tax returns, including: Corporate Income Tax Returns (Forms 1120, 1120F, and 1120S) Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065) International Information Returns (Forms 5471 and 5472) Withholding Tax Returns (Form 1042)
β Conduct tax research and provide practical solutions to complex tax matters
β Assist with tax planning strategies for corporate and partnership clients
β Prepare supporting workpapers and documentation for tax engagements
β Respond to IRS and state taxing authority notices and inquiries
β Participate in tax audits, tax due diligence, and special consulting projects
β Draft tax memoranda and communicate findings to management and clients
β Train, mentor, and develop entry level tax professionals
β Build strong client relationships while collaborating with Associates, Seniors, Managers, and Partners
β Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
π IDEAL BACKGROUND
π Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master's Degree in Accounting or Taxation is a plus
π Certifications: Actively pursuing CPA and/or EA designation
π Experience
Minimum 3+ years of public accounting tax experience. and at least 1 year operating at a Senior Tax Associate level or equivalent
Experience with corporate and partnership taxation
π₯ PREFERRED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
We're especially interested in professionals who have experience with:
π International Tax Compliance Forms 5471 and 5472 Foreign-owned U.S. entities Cross-border tax reporting requirements
π’ Corporate Taxation Forms 1120, 1120F, and 1120S Multi-state tax compliance Corporate tax planning and consulting
π€ Partnership Taxation Form 1065 preparation and review Partnership allocations and reporting
π Technical Tax Research Tax research platforms Tax memorandum preparation Interpretation of federal tax regulations
π Transaction Advisory Tax due diligence Mergers & Acquisitions tax projects Tax audit support
